Hey guys Im finally back!!! Im moving house in two weeks though back to Perth. So packing will be me all fortnight lol
anyhooow this could have some spoilers so for those who dont want to know ermm dont read LOL
Anyhooooooooow first Aneiki were on and due to technical difficulties they did an Accoustic set. They were simply AMAZING!!! I totally loved. I have bought there album now too and are playing it nonstop!!
Specificus..OMG they did my head in!! They belong in a club not on the stage. People were getting edgy. I was ready to kill someone. Quite frankly they went faaaar too long and people were getting ready to mutiny.
Darren: Wooo I was amazed cause guess what folks I actually liked him. His dress sense was of course tragic. He was goood. He sung perfectly and the songs went down well. I personally loved "good enough" and his guitar one LOL "what you like" best!! But the others were good too. IBHWC was bizzarre the only words I could make out were "Jesus Christ" he did it with one half of Specificus. He did some strange Robot dance with it too.
The Savage Garden songs were bitter sweet for me. I missed Daniel Jones at that time. His music goes with those songs soo well. I couldnt hate them though because there was this guy there singing them with Darrens voice which I love soo much!!! I have to say IWY was kinda drowned out. I could make out the versus only the chorus. He sat on the stage for I Miss you and had a little girl on his lap with him.
Overall he put on a good show. Compared Perth to Brisbane in big city/country town way. He did a cute little bashful look in "Good enough" at the dancing with Brittany line. I guess the one thing I could fault if I can fault is that he doesnt look that enthused to be there. Its a small thing but I love bands that even though they have done a million concerts still manage to make the crowd feel like this is the best ever. But he was good and he did well. It could of been longer too.. I think 2 hrs is more the go!!!
oh I even went and bought the "spin" with live cd
